Tiny stitches for an Easter tree

Devo davvero ringraziare il fatto che quest'anno la Pasqua cade abbastanza tardi, perché non é da me terminare un progetto (che fino a poche settimane fa era solo nella mia testa) addirittura un mese prima dell'evento in questione!

I definitely have to be thankful for Easter being very late this year, because it's really unheard of me to complete a project (that was only a thought in my mind until a few weeks ago) one whole month before a certain event!

Ma la prova é in queste foto, si, ci sono davvero riuscita! Questi deliziosi personaggini fanno giá la loro bella figura nel mio alberello Pasquale / Primaverile in sala da pranzo, ma altri set sono pronti per partire per decorare altre casette se ci sará qualcuno che vorrá adottarli.

But the proof is in these pictures, I really made it! These sweet little characters are already showing off proudly on my Easter / Spring tree in my dining room, and other sets are ready to fly and decorate other lovely houses if someone will be interested in adopting them.

Un lungo lungo lungo lavoro di piccole cuciture a mano, di minuscoli dettagli e di nastrini, pois, sciarpine a fiori e musetti dolci. Non sono mai stata un'appassionata di lavori in feltro ma ultimamente mi sto convertendo. La dolcezza del feltro, la sua morbidezza, la bellezza di quei piccoli infiniti punti a mano, crea davvero un effetto unico.

A long long craft work made of little stitches by hand, of tiny details, and ribbons, dots, floral scarves and sweet faces. I had never been particularly into felt crafts but lately I am actually getting passionate about them. The sweetness of felt, its softness,  the beauty of all those tiny hand stitches, really create a unique effect.

E cosi cucitura dopo cucitura sono nati questi piccoli personaggi, prima nella mia testa e poi tra le mie mani. Una pecorella con la sua rosellina, una colomba bianchissima con le ali a roselline, un paio di uova decorate, un coniglietto che salta allegro, un'oca con la sua sciarpina a fiori e un cuoricino decorato da un fiocco a quadretti.

And so stitch after stitch, all these little characters were created, first in my head, and then in my hands. A sheep with its little rose, a pure white dove with floral wings, a couple of decorated eggs, a jumping bunny, a goose with its floral scarf and a heart decorated with a gingham bow.

Buona Primavera a tutti voi che passate di qui e se desiderate adottare uno di questi dolcissimi set, li potete trovare qui nel mio negozio (fino a che saranno disponibili *** al momento sono esauriti, sto finendo altri set, e li sto caricando man mano che sono pronti, per dovere di informazione, voglio anche precisare che ho dovuto aumentare un pochino il prezzo rispetto ai primi set che ho venduto perché rifacendoli mi sono resa conto che avevo fatto un grosso errore nel calcolo dei tempi (per ottimizzare i tempi, essendo un lavoro lunghissimo interamente cucito a mano, lavoro a catena di montaggio e quindi ho calcolato male la divisione dei passaggi per pezzo/set***), assieme a tante tante altre cosine (di cui vi avevo accennato nello scorso post).. che bello avere un negozio finalmente e nuovamente un pó fornito!!!

Happy Spring to all of you who are calling by and if you feel like treating yourself with one of these sweet sets, you can find them here in my shop (until stock lasts ***currently sold out.. I am working on some other sets, and I am uploading them in the shop everytime I have a new one ready, I also would like to inform you that I had to increase their price a bit, because, making them again, I realised I had made a big mistake in the calculation of the time involved in making them. I work in assembly line style, to minimise the time needed, so I made a mistake spreading out the time of each step in every piece/set ***) together with many other items (I mentioned in my last post) .. it's so good to finally have a decently stocked shop!!!
